Did you know that currently the two surgeries proccess an average of over 750 telephone calls between them each Monday with nearly 400 calls before 11.30am? It would be really helpful if your call is not of an urgent nature if you could telephone after 11.30am on a Monday. You are unlikely to experience a long wait in the queue and we will be able to give you a much better service. Whilst the call volumes are not so high on other days of the week we always experience heavy demand early in the morning and therefore the same applies

Welcome to our practice. We hope you find all your visits to us helpful and friendly. This Webpage is intended to compliment our practice booklet to use as a guide to the services we offer.

The present Pound Hill Surgery was opened in 1991 but we have been providing care to our patients since 1954 through our highly trained practice team. We provide a comprehensive range of medical services at Pound Hill and also at our branch surgery in Copthorne village.

E Mail facilities

Please do not use the e-mail facility for urgent matters, booking appointments or clinical queries as the inbox is not constantly monitored. As regards Repeat Prescriptions please allow two working days before collection. If a request is received after 6.30pm then the 2 days will run from the beginning of the next day that the Practice is open.
